A course that boasts versatility for all skill levels.
"Our Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed par 71 golf course was built around a 20-acre nature preserve and is one of the few walkable courses in the area. Dick Erick, Golf Professional Emeritus, describes the course as, "This creation of Robert Trent Jones, Jr. is totally unique to Southwest Florida. The playing characteristics of the course incorporate strategy and finesse. One major design feature of the golf course is its versatility. The design of the tee complexes have up to 7 or 8 different tee locations. This helps create not only the variety of yardages but also many different angle changes to the holes. The most consistent comment from our members and guests is they never get tired of playing the course."
“Kensington is very avant-garde for its time. We used local coquina shell sand for sandy waste areas, routed play through a cypress preserve, incorporated both the bunkers and traditional water hazards of Florida, and created highly shaped playing features to present what we hope is an always fascinating golfing challenge. I've long had relatives in the Naples area and Kensington continues to be touchstone when I am fortunate enough to visit the Gulf Coast.”

Words We Cherish
“We each play golf several times a week and we never tire of playing golf at Kensington. This excellent course offers multiple tee options and is always in top condition. We can either walk the course or take a cart to create as challenging or fun a round as we want. We love this golf course.”
- Bruce & Susan Armstrong, Members of Kensington Golf & Country Club since 2000
“I always hoped to play more golf when I retired, but was not sure how to get plugged in with the golfers, since we were new golf members and we didn’t really know anyone. In my first winter of retirement I was invited to play in three different mens’ groups, and found myself on the course 4-5 days a week. The guys were friendly, inviting, and made me feel comfortable. Many of the golf guys have already become good friends!”
-Bill & Marianne Burke, Members of Kensington Golf & Country Club since 2010
“My husband found Kensington Golf & Country Club when he was playing different Naples golf courses. We were new to Naples, Florida and he wanted to see what the different golf clubs had to offer. Kensington had everything we were looking for in a country club; a beautiful golf course with a Clubhouse offering a variety of amenities and great dining, top notch staff but most of all an active membership with down to earth members. We were welcomed with open arms and quickly became active members at the club. Within a year, we sold our house near Vanderbilt Beach and bought a house in the Kensington community. Come give this club a try, you won't be disappointed.”
-Russ and Pam Omer, Members of Kensington Golf & Country Club since 2017
“Charlotte and I were looking for a community close to downtown Naples where we could both play golf and socialize with fun, friendly people as we entered retirement. I am an average golfer and Charlotte is a "social golfer", and we have both been welcomed with open arms into various groups in the club. And the social agenda has far surpassed our expectations, keeping us busy many nights of the week. We are so pleased we made the decision to live and play golf in Kensington.”

"After we purchased our home in Naples in 2016, we researched and evaluated eight golf clubs in the area to determine which would most "feel right" for us. When we visited Kensington, the General Manager greeted us warmly, showed us the facilities and answered our questions. He then introduced us to our "Ambassador" Members who would play a round of golf with us. The golf course was most impressive and we simply loved the variety of each hole and the outstanding maintenance. Our Ambassadors were terrific and introduced us to a number of members after golf and really made us feel welcome. We subsequently decided we had found our home at Kensington. We have enjoyed the organized events as well as the informal men and women groups with whom we play golf regularly. We enjoy all that Kensington has to offer."
- Neil and Karen De Koker, Kensington Golf & Country Club Members since 2017
"We moved to Kensington in 2017 from another club just a few miles away because we found a home here that was perfect for us in the location we desired. The Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed golf course is beautiful and challenging, but with tees for every skill level. You can walk any time of day which is a tremendous benefit for those that enjoy walking. It is a course you truly never get tired of playing."
- Fred & Jolene Miller, Kensington Golf & Country Club Members since 2017
"Golfing at Kensington is the best! A lot of the women play in casual groups a couple of days a week. They are very inclusive and welcome new members. There is a core group of women that usually walks the course, so it's a great way to get some exercise while honing your golf game. After golf, enjoying a healthy lunch together in the clubhouse is always fun!"
